This downed pole has been sitting here for weeks. I kept thinking it would be handled. It wasn’t. Now that I’ve reported it, @EntergyLA assures me it’ll be picked up ASAP. Thank you, but more needs to be done parishwide to make sure poles that fail or are replaced are handled and

At Wednesday's council meeting, we shored up funding for Early Childhood Care and Education for the next three years. The Jefferson Ready Start Network has done great work over the years with dollars generated by the Council, which are matched dollar-for-dollar by the state.

Just in from Entergy -- Approximately 500 customers are experiencing an outage in Elmwood. The issue occurred when switching load back to normal configuration from yesterday’s outage. Crews are on-site working to restore customers quickly. We understand the economic impact this.
