16. As though I needed a reminder that I'm old.

So, I received notice that I've reached my 14th Twitterversary. IDK what that says about me.

I don't call for coaches to be fired, but such simple mistakes do reflect on how a team is run. They are reminiscent of the Hue Jackson era, which was historically horrid.

So many things went sideways for the Browns yesterday, but I was again most struck by the lack of discipline; i.e., penalties like illegal procedure and too many men in the huddle, as well as substitution problems. Those things happening in Week 14 is beyond logic.

Don't think for a minute that Sherrone Moore won't resurface in college football or the NFL. It may not be for a few years. But someone will take a chance on him at a relatively affordable price.

I can't buy for a second that Stefanski sabotaged Sanders when his job, ultimately, is based on winning games. Keep in mind, though, that we've not yet seen what Shedeur can do against a good football team.

I like what I've been seeing. How does it translate to facing a good team? We'll find out soon enough.

I've watched the failed two-point conversion multiple times now. I still can't figure out what the hell was going on except for Stefanski asking to be fired.

I'm exhausting my unused vacation days this month. I may not even get out of bed on any of them.

I know that's not the real Angelina Jolie who just followed me on here. But McKayla Maroney for real followed me years ago -- and still does -- so that's cool.

I like watching the Lions play, particularly Gibbs and St. Brown. But I've gotten out of the business of taking on cockamamie subscriptions to watch a game or two.

There are/have been a lot of guys in the league like these nominees -- an example being Fostoria's Micah Hyde, whose Imagine for Youth Foundation has done many great things in his hometown and elsewhere. The bad guys too often get the headlines; support the work the good ones do.

Today would have been my mom's 84th birthday. I love you and miss you, Mom.

Not bashing Hartline in any way, but I imagine coaching guys such as those is not particularly difficult.

I've rarely seen a naked bootleg succeed or fail -- only because coaches rarely call it. A run between the tackles is the job-security call.

The Browns would stand a better chance of winning if, among other things, they would bother to make adjustments at halftime.

When I was a student at Valparaiso, St. Joseph College students spray-painted VU's Brown Field. It's rivalry stuff, not a government overthrow, for God's sake.
