The results may not reflect it but the 45s went toe-to-toe with every nation this weekend despite the scorelines. They served up some exciting, attacking hockey for all to enjoy. 📸 @Mike3Legs.

An award of a disputed penalty corner 8 minutes from time proved the difference, Ireland scoring from a tight angle.

The hosts then stepped up the pressure but couldn't find the net. A draw would've been a fair reflection of the match but the luck of the Irish isn't a phrase for nothing!

Scotland equalised in Q3 when they took a quick free hit outside the circle round its way to Katie Francis who deflected it into the top corner.
