It's been a busy year for Assembly members! As the school year ends, we'd like to thank the amazing Assembly parent & carer members as well as the education partners who've been keen to hear the voices of parents & carers to help shape their work. We wish everyone a good summer!

There's still work ahead and the Assembly will continue to follow this closely and ensure parent and carers voices stay part of the conversation.

In our report, 84% of our parents and carers said family engagement MUST be built into how new education bodies are run. .

📢Education Reform (Scotland) Bill Passes Stage 3 by Scottish Parliament. The Scottish Government has confirmed that parents and carers will have a voice in the governance of Qualifications Scotland - something our Assembly members strongly advocated for.

This story is a reminder that communication takes many forms, and that progress in our schools must be measured in more than just spoken words.
