Pot and Leo would still be either losing or slightly losing. Leaving most of his bad matchups to stay bad and his good matchups to start being worse. He is, as mentioned, a counterpick above all currently. Let me know your opinions as I continue to figure Anji out.

Anji would be in a situation where he would be overall weaker. The characters that he counters in top tier being better matchups and suddenly having his low tier matchups being even worse. Pot and Leo have kits that just inherently beat Anji so unless they take away mechanics 5/6.

Do I think Anji is good? Yes, very good. Do I think he's broken? No, not at all. Do I think Anji needs to be nerfed? Yes. But he is nowhere near the ceiling of the game in terms of power level. I think if you nerf the top tiers, buff the low tiers, and kept Anji the same 4/6.

Ky could arguably be losing with how good fire ball is into Anji, Dizzy I am still confident is rather bad and one of Dizzys only good matchups. Regardless of how bad Dizzy is, Anji struggles so much more into that character than most of the cast. 3/6.

Anji suffers into Pot and Leo and I personally believe is slightly losing into Sin and GL, but aside from that, he has rather good matchups into other characters such as Ram, Nago and even Johnny. He loses to random characters though due to his power budget. Asuka, Bed, Test 2/6.

After talking to people and trying to see other peoples perspectives, this is currently where I'm at with my matchup chart.Note: Rather than Anji being extremely good, I think he's great into the meta compared to others, where he loses is characters that not many people play. 1/6
I'm planning on making an Anji Mito matchup guide/counter-play guide . I'm looking for mains of characters that are consistent enough/top level to help adjust these placements to be accurate enough to help everyone!. My current opinions on the matchups look something like this:

I also just placed some characters in my wishlist cause I feel they are toxic design over actual strength (Such as A.B.A, Elphelt and Zato) While for the main one I tried being unbiased and thinking of what Arcsys would do if they are taking the approach of community feedback.

The first slide is what I predict will happen with the patch (Their statement on players feeling "exhausted" at the Lucy panel makes me believe they are more open to feedback) and the second is my own personal wishlist. I genuinely believe the solution to the problems are nerfs
