This idea that understanding the in-between state has to do with creating math that is well-defined and convergent. The Euclidean (imaginary time) is then not a concept that represents literal reality.

The cool diffraction grating experiment doesn't actually falsify the single path. Particles don't take all possible paths. This merely demonstrated that wave optics can be calculated with path integrals, not result in an all path ontology.

Quantum theory often has the "all possible paths" computational tool of path integrals as a shortcut for combining unitary evolution and the Born rule for a specific measurement basis in a way that is an entirely contrived nonsensical myth of what Feynman actually meant.

This is how they dumb us down with statistics.
@tokertim @DrNeilStone Yes, they also gave COVID and non-COVID positive patients a vaccine, and when they died from complications or other vaccine injuries, they counted them as hospitalized unvaccinated individuals. Then reported gave us statistics about how much more effective and safe vaccines are.

Furthermore; getting Polio was not a guarantee that you would end up in an "iron lung". The "vaccine miracle" messaging spread by drug manufacturers because they like to make money. It's not profound nor healthy to give our time and energy to thoughtless repetitions.

Polio was already dying out by the time the vaccines started. But more importantly the statements is entirely untrue as the vaccine didn't heal anyone who had polio. We replaced the "iron lung" with ventilators. And ventilators are still in use today!
