I can’t quite believe we are having to fight the same fight all over again. But here goes; if you are asked for this data don’t comply- even if you can. Parents with status and passports refusing to supply this data provides some aircover for others who can’t. #nobordersinschools

RT🔒 Comfortable to say this as I am🔒 As part of @Schools_ABC, we are looking into examples of passport checks. DfE have confirmed that they no longer ask for nationality data from state schools in England and deleted all the data they had. We could do w/ more help on this!

It seems that the @educationgovuk is changing policy on the quiet. Every child should be entitled to education. Has anybody else been asked to prove their child’s nationality? This is very concerning @libertyhq @Schools_ABC @defenddigitalme
School(s) asking children to bring in their passports so their nationalities and immigration status can be checked. Awful, divisive and Xenophobic. I wish I could confidently say it's unlawful too. But one can never know in immigration status-obsessed Tory Britain.

This is beyond fucked up. Please refuse to comply if you are asked to show your passport (assuming you even have one) & NEVER hand it over to anyone else.
