BREAKING NEWS: Continuing from our morning's post, here's a look at our template tool in use. Notice each section is numbered and 3 marks were made to produce the curve we need. This will help us to create an accurate curve when we get back to the shop. #SecretProject

We needed to get more details on the curves of an existing stage extension, so we created a 15' template tool using our CNC router that will copy the curves and give us the information we need. #SecretProject

We remain #DaytonStrong and we still grieve the lives lost on August 4. 2019.

Aaron has discovered that it's probably not a good idea to leave your safety vest draped over your desk chair while off on an install. Especially when the soft goods department is busy sewing gold braid and tassels onto red velvet drapes.

FYI, the brick scenery we’re constructing is destined for two separate productions of the same show. Double the pleasure, double the fun!

#ThisWeekInTheShop, our technicians programed our KUKA Robotic Milling Machine to tackle carving a multitude of sections which we fit together like a 3-D puzzle. This project will become a local high school landmark--and the ultimate selfie spot for the students. More to come!

Our scenic artists are turning humble brick sheets from Pulp Art Surfaces into magical masonry! It's like a masterclass in "brick laying!"

With two straight edges locked in place, Eli uses a hot wire cutter to cut through a block of foam like it's butter. The shortened block is headed straight to our KUKA robot for carving magic. #WeMakeCoolStuff

What was once an ordinary blue trike is now THE SOUNDCYCLE at @ValleyfairMN amusement park in Minnesota! Spinning tunes, turning heads, and tracking adventures on its very own Instagram account: We're so proud to have been a part of its transformation!

It's a texture takeover in the shop today, thanks to Pulp Art Surfaces’ striking “bricks.” And nope—we’re not hitting a brick wall. We’re creating something brilliant.

We enjoyed bringing The SPLASH! Water Parade to life for our friends at Six Flags Over Georgia. We shipped this project last week, and it premiered on Saturday. This wet-and-wild street party parade runs from 6/28 to 7/11, Park and party details here:

It had become a pattern—every time we organized a potluck or BBQ, JC was off-site on an install. So this time, we made it all about him—his favorite foods, on a day he was actually in town to enjoy them.
