Congratulations to Anya who won a bronze medal at her first U14 British ranking event at Moulton College yesterday. This follows on from her 7th place finish at the England Youth Championships a couple of weeks ago and establishes her firmly in the top ten U14s. Very well done!

Congratulations to all our fencers at the grand final of the Youth Series last weekend. Gold for Anya, silvers for Gordon and Luke, and bronzes for Ella, Scarlett and Noah. Scarlett, Anya, Noah and Luke have additionally finished the season as series winners.

Congratulations to Katy (U18 girls) and Arthur (U16 boys) who won bronze medals in the British Youth Championships. In addition, Freya (U16 girls), Noah (U16 boys) and Anya (U14 girls) all gave accomplished performances in their age groups too. Well done all!

Another outstanding performance from Katy this weekend taking gold at the Cardiff BRC. This result closes the gap with the no. 1 seed in the GB cadet rankings to 500 points. Also, a strong performance from Arthur who had a top 16 finish for the first time. Well done to you both!

Congratulations to Anya and Scarlett, both picking up medals in the LPJS Oldham on Sunday. Bronze for Scarlett in the U10s and Silver for Anya in the U12s. Anya only missing out on the gold by 1 touch! Well done both.

This Thursday we will be running an under 14s epee taster group in preparation for a series of beginner's classes throughout July. They will take place at the YMCA 6-7pm and each session will cost £5. Please get in touch to register for a place.

Last week we held our first "Bring A Friend" evening and we hope all of the friends enjoyed their whistle-stop introduction to fencing? You would all be very welcome to return if you would like to learn more about this wonderful sport.
