ବୈଜ୍ଞାନିକମାନଙ୍କର ସମାଜ ପ୍ରତି ଅବଦାନକୁ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତି ଦେବା ଓ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିକ୍ଷାକୁ ଆଗକୁ ନେବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ଫେବ୍ରୁଆରି ୨୮ ତାରିଖକୁ ଜାତୀୟ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଦିବସ ଭାବେ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଉଛି। ବିକଶିତ ଭାରତ ଓ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପାଇଁ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ଉଦ୍ଭାବନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଯୁବପିଢ଼ିଙ୍କୁ ସଶକ୍ତ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷତାକୁ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତରୀୟ କରାଯାଉଛି।

The other attraction of Science City were Earth Exploration Hall, Space theater, Time machine, Space Gallery and Butterfly Garden.

Hon’ble Minister, Science and Technology & Food Supplies and Consumer welfare visited Science City, Kolkata on 04.02. 2025. The most attractive part of the Science City was Climate change Gallery titled “on the Edge” was more innovative and informative.

ମହାକ���ଶରେ ଏବେ ଚାଲିଥିବା ପ୍ଲାନେଟ ପରେଡ୍ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବୈଷୟିକ ବିଭାଗର ମାନ୍ୟବର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ କୄଷ୍ଣଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ପାତ୍ର ପଠାଣି ସାମନ୍ତ ପ୍ଲାନେଟୋରିୟମକୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ସେ ଏହି ବିରଳ ମହାଜାଗତିକ ଦୃଶ୍ୟକୁ ଟେଲିସ୍କୋପ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଦେଖିବା ସହ ବିଜ୍ଞାନର ପ୍ରଚାର ପ୍ରସାର ଲାଗି ଏଭଳି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଜାରି ରହିବ ବୋଲି କହିଥିଲେl

‘‘ମହାକାଶରେ ଏବେ ବିରଳ ମହାଜାଗତିକ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଛି। ୧୪୪ ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଧାଡ଼ିରେ ୬ଟି ଗ୍ରହ ଦିଶୁଥିବାରୁ ଏହାକୁ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ଉତ୍ସାହ ରହିଛି। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପଠାଣି ସାମନ୍ତ ପ୍ଲାନେଟୋରିୟମଠାରେ ବିଶେଷ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନିଆଯାଇଛି।’’ – ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଚିତ୍ରା ଆରୁମୁଗମ୍, ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ, ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବୈଷୟିକ ବିଭାଗ

ଶୁକ୍ରବାର ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ ପଠାଣି ସାମନ୍ତ ପ୍ଲାନେଟୋରିୟମଠାରେ ଟେଲିସ୍କୋପ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଗ୍ରହକୁ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ଓ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ବେଶ୍ ଉତ୍ସାହ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଥିଲା। ଏହି ବିରଳ ମହାଜାଗତିକ ଦୃଶ୍ୟକୁ କିପରି ସୁବିଧାରେ ଦେଖିହେବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବୈଷୟିକ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।

ନିଜ କକ୍ଷପଥରେ ଘୂରି ବୁଲୁଥିବା ଏହି ଗ୍ରହଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଗୋଟିଏ ଧାଡ଼ିରେ ଦିଶୁଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ବିରଳ ମହାଜାଗତିକ ଦୃଶ୍ୟକୁ କିପରି ସୁବିଧାରେ ଦେଖିହେବ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ଲାନେଟୋରିୟମ ପରିସରରେ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରାଯାଇଛି। ଜାନୁଆରି ୩୧ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ୫.୩୦ରୁ ୭.୩୦ ଯାଏଁ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ (ସୋମବାର ବ୍ୟତୀତ) ଏହା ଜାରି ରହିବ।.

ପଠାଣି ସାମନ୍ତ ପ୍ଲାନେଟୋରିୟମଠାରେ ଟେଲିସ୍କୋପ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଗ୍ରହକୁ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ଓ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ବେଶ୍ ଉତ୍ସାହ। ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବୈଷୟିକ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଏଥିପାଇଁ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଫଳରେ ସେମାନେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ, ଶୁକ୍ର, ବୃହସ୍ପତି, ଶନି, ନେପଚୁନ୍ ଓ ୟୁରେନସ୍ ଗ୍ରହକୁ ମହାକାଶରେ ଦେଖି ଖୁସି ହେଉଛନ୍ତି।

This is a case of planetary alignment, a result of the orbital mechanics of the solar system. Such events are rare, especially involving 6 planets. People are showing great curiosity to watch the celestial spectacle. This activity will continue between 5:30-7:30 PM till Jan 31.
