The Age of the tricolor flag is nearly 97 years old (since 1928), though with variations in the emblem. But its importance and meaning have and will never change and this is what matters the most to the people of Afghanistan. Today is the national flag/ national identity day -.

2002–2021 – Post-Taliban governments reinstated the tricolor with national emblem, used internationally and domestically. 2021–present – Taliban again replaced it with a white flag, but the black-red-green tricolor remains the recognized national flag internationally and by most.

1928 – The tricolor (black-red-green) was first introduced by King Amanullah Khan after his trip to Europe, inspired by modern nation-state flags. In 1930s–1970s – Modified several times with changes in the emblem (royal symbols, wheat, mosque) but retained the tricolor base.

Ashes of Honor: The Death of Our Humanity. In a society where a woman is found decomposed .nine months after her death. Not missing. Not mourned. Her body decayed in silence .because she dared to choose a career. Her own family severed ties,.not with shame .but with.

For Sheetal “A Grave for a Bride". In the dust of Balochistan she stood,.A bride with no veil of shame. But a Quran in trembling hands,.And love that spoke her name. They called it honor, drew their guns,.As silence wrapped the sky. Her only fault? A beating heart. That dared to

Today in Balochistan, a woman was surrounded by a group of men alone, holding only a Quran. She was seized and shot to death. Her only "crime" was choosing to marry the man she loved. That choice was enough to end her life in the name of so-called family honor. She was not armed.

In a society where Islam and the madrasa system are upheld as the pillars of faith, a woman dies, her body left to decompose for nine months before the media even brings her story to light and still, her parents do not come to claim her. Yet, our collective focus remains fixated.

So Osama bin Laden was jamming to Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik while sending thousands to die in the name of ‘jihad’? Just a reminder: it was never about faith. ‘Jihad’ was hijacked as a political weapon—while the men at the top lived in luxury, watched Bollywood, and left others

Iran's racism toward Afghan refugees isn’t new — it’s a deep-rooted system of discrimination masked under politics and borders. From schools to hospitals, Afghans are treated as second-class humans in a land they helped build with their labor. Silence is complicity. #StopRacism.
