So LC & BD has to battle it out in the MIC all year, beat MIC teams in sectional 10 & 11, THEN play another MIC team in the regional semifinals. So you eliminate 6 of the top 8 teams in the State the first 2 weekends. 🤷🏾♂️

I let my players enjoy the summer & still play basketball. Never shame a kid for wanting to go to a dance or school function. If you lose a game so what? A 14 yr old should be able to enjoy his peers. Social development is just as important as basketball.

When I hear youth coaches and AAU programs say they’re “All about the kids and development” but tall kids get .0026% of the in game guard reps, 0% pick and roll reps or perimeter defensive assignments from age 5-14. Now the kid is a 6’2 1/2 HS center 🚨🚨🚨

This time last year we found my wife was fighting cancer. She battled and handled her treatment and surgeries with amazing strength. Now she’s cancer free and I can’t explain what a blessing that is. Life is precious.
