We’re watching the tail end of “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once”, and my 14 year old son turned to me and said, “There needs to be more movies like that are original.”. He gets it. I told him this is how movies used to be. He wants more originality. Best kid ever!.

I realized my 80s end table was missing one critical thing: a milk glass candy dish shaped like a chicken. Duh! It reminded me of my grandparents house, which is oddly comforting.

Currently watching “Weird Science” for the first time. As much as I love John Hughes, I never watched until today. It’s weird, no pun intended, because I knew of this movie, but somehow never rented it. It’s a pretty great gem to find after 40 years.

RIP @TonyTodd54. A great actor, underrated for sure. Yes he was Candyman, but his performance as old Jake Sisko is heartbreaking. Go watch something in his memory, Tony Todd was wonderful!
