Bais rajput are one of major purbiya clan along with bisen rajput. Suhaldeo bias is also mentioned as bhar cheiftan and other ancestors are mentioned as low origin. I think Brij Bushan sharan singh belongs to this clan( don't have much info)

@MrBhaukaal @talk2anuradha Descendants of 'Manu' are called 'मनुष्य' and Descendants of 7 Great Sages are called ' ब्राह्मण ' , there is nothing like Brahmins are only by karma, yes anyone can perform the duties of a Brahman but anyone's father can not be changed so anyone can not claim to be a Brahman.
