India’s in a fix now after yesterday’s judgement against Hasina. Her rivals are using the judiciary and extradition treaty with India for her extradition to Bangladesh before Feb. elections. There should be a middle ground and Delhi must avoid the “tragic repeat of Najibullah.”

death sentence 4Sheikh Hasina is a chilling red flag. India must ensure her safety at any cost. India &South Asia cannot afford tragic repeat of Najibullah: abandoned, brutalised, erased. Hasina has been steadfast ally in security, stability & cooperation. We must not look away.

With the successful testing of a newly-raised integrated #Rudra all-arms brigade in the major #Trishul exercise on the western front, the Army may now well upgrade its #ColdStart doctrine to #ColdStrike for swifter and greater offensive thrusts into enemy territory.
