Yeah, I know the Mookie video gets overused… but what he says here is absolute gold. Some of the best info on social media, period. Mookie shows how going back lets the lat pull the top arm. In a game, when he lets that move flow into the ground, the chain fires correctly:

You can’t force movement patterns. Development isn’t something that can be rushed or artificially manufactured it has to be built step by step. The problem with many hitting instructors today is that they aren’t truly invested in the player’s long-term growth. Instead, they chase

The leg is engaged prior to the hips. As the back knee descends, it activates the latissimus dorsi, initiating a turn that leads to a tilt without any movement of the back arm.

I know this is a long post, but I feel it’s critical to separate fact from fiction. Too many hitters are being misled by gimmicks and incomplete instruction. Here’s what the real mechanics show. The idea of a continuous ā€œon-and-aroundā€ spiral up the rear leg is widely

This guy had the audacity to rip on others for being ā€œwrong,ā€ yet this statement proves he has no clue what he’s talking about. Some instructors claim hitting low pitches is just ā€œbending over.ā€ That’s flat-out wrong. Elite hitters adjust through rotation and lower-half

Aaron Judge:. Early in the swing, his pelvis anticipates ground force as his front foot lands, showing he is rotating. The front heel pulls under, indicating external rotation of the front side. However, his head stays back over the rear hip and falls backward at swing

High hands, short stride, and balance! Stay strong with the top hand above the ball. Conquer the high strike first, and the low strike becomes easy. @ROIFASTPITCH @MiaFavato2027 @LeahEnglish2027 @GabriyellaK

Young hitters need confidence in knowing their movement is improving. They don’t need a bat or fancy equipment to learn to throw more effectively movement comes before results.

Facts about Pitch Height & Knob to Ball: . Core Truth. •One swing engine, two feels → sequence (balance → ground force → rotation) never changes. •Adjustments = posture + path, not a new swing. •Reality check: Coaches who say ā€œknob to ball is wrongā€ often haven’t played

With young hitters, I like to start with positions that connect directly to the throw. Why? Because the lower half should pull the torso, and the torso should carry the arm — not the other way around. āš¾ļø Progression:.1ļøāƒ£ Set the Position – balance + posture in a simple stride.

Bagwell wasn’t a giant—5’11ā€ 225 lbs. He couldn’t rely on long limbs for power, so he mastered compression, using his whole body to generate explosive bat speed. 1. Load the Rear Leg – Push down and in through the back foot, storing energy like a spring. 2. Hip Pull – Let your

The real stretch doesn’t come from spiraling tension or just loading the rear leg to spin the foot backward or lift off the ground that’s a weak, disconnected move. When the back foot spins, the shoulders tip and fall backward, pulling the hitter off-plane and out of sequence.
