In question time today we learned our hospitals have gone from being described as “world class” to now “safe”. That’s quite a climb down, in the space of just a week, from the Cook Labor government.

Interesting spin from a Housing Minister who is overseeing the worst housing supply crisis in decades, and who last month ridiculed every member of the opposition making fun of their appearance/character. 🙄

The Treasurer's dismissive attitude towards debt was exposed during Estimates on Tuesday. The facts are clear: the WA government has racked up more debt, despite receiving a 52% increase in revenue over two terms. via @JessicaPage7 .

Well, well, well. Look at what has dropped at 330pm on Friday afternoon, at the start of the WA Day long weekend. 🐟

That moment when you realise the Treasurer is worsening the housing crisis by investing billions in projects during a period of high economic activity, exacerbating worker shortages and crowding out housing construction. 🏠❌🏡❌

Despite warnings that record public infrastructure investment was crowding out the private market and soaking up workforce capacity, the Cook Labor govt has failed to listen, failed to act, and ultimately failed to deliver the housing WA needs.
