The Scottish Greens want to make hard drugs like heroin available on our high streets – paid for by taxpayers. This is not ‘progressive’ - as they claim - it’s surrender from the party (and their SNP pals) who voted against making rehabilitation and recovery a legal right.

Great day at the @ScotTories West Region Conference in Renfrew - our last before the May ‘26 Holyrood election. Members are united & up for the fight ahead - champion an aspirational Scotland where families keep more of their hard-earned cash and the NHS is accessible for all.

Warned but reckless - the Greens ploughed ahead anyway. A costly shambles hit firms like Biffa, who invested in good faith on SNP/Green promises. Now Scots taxpayers are face paying for their incompetence and sheer bloody mindedness.
The last thing hard-working Scots need is to pay for the SNP and Greens’ staggering incompetence. Yet thanks to their hopelessly botched deposit return scheme, taxpayers could be on the hook for a £170 million compensation payout.

The Greens trumpet they are ‘progressive’. Calling for legalisation of hard drugs is not progressive but an insult to families fighting addiction. Progress means prevention, recovery, and hope, not normalising addiction.
It’s bonkers to think legalising heroin and crack cocaine will solve Scotland’s drug death crisis. The Greens should have backed our Right to Recovery Bill if they really wanted to help Scots struggling with addiction.

The SNP & Scottish Greens say they’re progressive. Don’t buy it. They’re wasteful, divisive and anti-aspiration - punishing the very families who make Scotland work.

Wishing everyone celebrating a happy Diwali. This Diwali, let’s light up minds, not just lamps. Together, we can code, create, and celebrate brighter futures.

No critically ill patient should have to wait four hours to get an ambulance. After 18 years of SNP mismanagement, this is the terrifying reality. The @ScotTories will deliver a revitalised health system which prioritises frontline care over unnecessary bureaucracy.

The SNP’s deadly mismanagement of our health service is putting lives at risk. Latest figures show that critically ill patients are waiting up to 18 hours for an ambulance. This is a scandal. Neil Gray must take action and adopt our plans which prioritise frontline services.

After 18 years in power, the SNP can’t keep on deflecting. For now, Scotland’s NHS is their responsibility.

The SNP’s new GP plan is nothing more than back of a fag packet stuff. They have no real vision for how to fix the permanent crisis in our NHS.

GPs quite rightly say that John Swinney’s SNP conference announcement to open walk-in centres does nothing to address the main reasons for not getting an appointment.
John Swinney's GP walk-in centre plan is back-of-a-fag-packet stuff and a pre-election stunt. After 18 years of SNP failure, patients and staff deserve better – we'd ring-fence funding to increase appointment availability and get the NHS back on track.

The ScotGov must stop stifling aspiration. Dialing down Scotland’s devolved ‘stamp duty’ - the LBTT - would help young people buy their own homes and boost our economy. It’s high time to make home ownership achievable again. A Scottish solution to Scotland’s housing crisis.
📢 Kemi Badenoch has pledged to axe stamp duty when buying (main) homes. This will help realise the dream of home ownership and kick-start the housing market. We're calling on John Swinney's SNP to help Scottish homebuyers by abolishing Scotland’s version of stamp duty (LBTT).

SNP engineering the axing from a key budget oversight group of Cllr John Daly - a respected headteacher - shows fear of scrutiny. Silencing reasoned voices weakens democracy and transparency in Glasgow. https://t.co/fbNRjAYt2i

More of the same from the SNP - big on announcements about spending your money, diabolically poor on delivery.
The SNP’s multi-million-pound recruitment drive to tackle GP shortages in rural Scotland has produced only three new trainee doctors. The SNP need a robust plan that will actually deliver the GPs that rural areas are dangerously short of.

In the aftermath of the devastating attack in Manchester, we must all work to ensure that the scourge of antisemitism finds no home in our society and country. We cannot allow Glasgow's broad and varied communities to be undermined by intolerance and hostility of any kind.

Colleges give people of all ages the chance to learn, retrain, and adapt. If Scotland is to thrive in a fast-changing world, we must invest in lifelong education. The message is clear: the SNP Government must act.

It’s Dyslexia Awareness Week. At least 1 in 10 Scots are dyslexic - which can affect reading, spelling, short term memory and more. But it’s often misunderstood. @DyslexiaScotlan is out to challenge common myths about dyslexia. Find out more here : https://t.co/KWfJKDAI80

In this week’s @GlasgowTimes - holding the SNP to account over wasteful spending. Behind closed doors, executives sign off golden pay-outs while Glaswegians feel fleeced. Enough is enough. We deserve transparency and real services for every pound paid. https://t.co/vKaY8pVVBW
