Why feign surprise when India is punished by the climate crisis? Himalayan landslides!? Killer floods & droughts? Nature's warnings ignored! Remember Mumbai's 2005 Mithi disaster? Wyanaad's 2024 flood trauma (below)? Nero fiddled while Rome burned! @SanctuaryAsia

Snow leopards are to the Himalaya what tigers are to the forests of India. Their presence indicate health. Their absence from habitats they once occupied... decay. @SanctuaryAsia @shatakshigawade https://t.co/CpUQjUgfmt

Rice is one among scores of foods that will be hit by our self-created climate crisis. We should be arming farmers with knowledge on the causes of the climate crisis, and the impact of chemicals on soils, not just the Monsoon arrival dates. @SanctuaryAsia
