You can outsource a lot of task as a parent, but not the attention your child requires from you. The time spent listening and talking to one's child has a great effect on a child's mental and psycho-social development.

Praying for others is one of the subtle ways to find, and be at peace, and it also brings about a special kind of tranquility that connects you more with your Rabb.

I ask Allah to help us to reach the level of Ihsan, to accept the good that we put forward and to not take our souls except that He is pleased with us. Ameen.

These children are about seven in number. I'm looking for people that can sponsor their fee at N1,500 per child, instead of the normal 2,000. If you can, do support this small cause of mine. I'd feed you back about their learning process during and after the class.

CALL FOR CHARITY There are some children whom I know, that I've not had ANY online learning exposure since the close of schools/pandemic. I'm willing to spare some gadgets for them to participate in my One week "Reading and Writing Boost class".

The learners learnt six words directly, and about ten more words via answering questions in class, doing leisure tasks, forming sentences & looking out for words in the dictionary. Learners also did an assessment test at the end of the class, and they all performed brilliantly

My aim for the class was to expose the participants to some new words that can be used for daily communication and also help to improve their reading. Over ninety (90)children joined the class from different parts of Nigeria, and there was a great level of engagement.

In commemoration of the International Literacy Day 2020, I hosted a 6-day Vocabulary Building Class via WhatsApp under my ambassadorial role with @WorldLiteracy. Putting my teaching skills to use, for advocacy is quite fulfilling for me.
