Earning a living "following your dream" as a fiction writer Does. Not. Make. Sense. You get more long-term financial stability from working an entry-level office job. You need to admit that so you can figure out why you DO want to write.

People who say "AI is theft" have no idea what they're talking about. We've been through this many, many times before. Quit hammering the table, folks.

Quit justifying evil. Either write me someone who is evil because they embrace it, or write someone who has conflicting goals with your MC. Either is better than a Whiny McWhinerface sulking about "Oh, I was made fun of as a child!"

Some stories are meant to be novellas. The fact that there's no real place to publish novellas anymore isn't your problem, it's a failure of the market.

Men want romance in their fiction, too. The problem is that Romance as a genre has taken over, and Big-R Romance is very different from little-r romance.

Learning how to encapsulate an entire story arc in 3000-4000 words (heck, in under 1500 words!) is an essential skill. Saying "I can't write short" is admitting you're unwilling to learn that skill.
