Welp, I guess nobody else worked on Mass Effect 2. 👀 It's been YEARS now, and EA still can't get this corrected. Why is this so difficult? Worse yet: why do they not care enough to properly credit all artists involved? This still pisses me off. (1/2)

Wow. Going through some old, old music of mine, and stumbled across some previously unreleased Mass Effect music (sorta). I obviously didn't work on Andromeda, but before that was decided, I wrote a motif that might've been cool if BioWare was open to a new main theme. (1/2).

In the spirit of Mason's tweet:. I wrote music for Mass Effect 1 on shitty Logitech speakers, on a shitty MIDI keyboard, on a shitty little IKEA desk in the corner of my bedroom. You can produce awesome music on almost any setup. Just get someone else to mix your stuff. 😅.

I usually start most of my themes on piano only, because, in my mind, if it's not memorable on piano, it ain't gonna be memorable with the full treatment. Imagine it with full orchestra & synth, and there you go. 🚀 (2/2).

Random #MassEffect 3 fact: my portion of the soundtrack was mixed and mastered by the illustrious John Rodd, who also worked on Elysium, Get Out, Nope, Overwatch, The Outer Worlds, and more. He does amazing work, and is the reason that Mars track sounds so bloody good!.

Man. Really just overly tired of the whole audiophile nonsense attitude of "you're not an audio pro if you can't hear the difference between 48 and 96 KHz." No one cares. Most pros deliver in 48 KHz 24-bit. Maybe some can identify 96 KHz, but it's largely irrelevant.

Just recreated the opening bass synth from Resynthesis on the Sequential Take 5. It's not quite 100%, simply because the original patch was made in Diva, which has an FM filter option (adds more "grit"). Still, close enough and it sounds great!.
