The Bears just concluded a long team period that was fully live and very physical. There were two skirmishes. The highlights were two TD runs by Roschon Johnson at the goal line vs. the first defense. One of the most intense periods of practice I’ve seen in a while.

The Bears literally drafted the first modern TE in NFL history and promptly were like "We're good" for the next 44 years and then topped it off by fumbling their best TE prospect in ages because they sided with a doofus dinosaur coordinator.
You guys know I love trends . so how about this one. The Bears have drafted 20 tight ends all (not including Colston Loveland). Just one (Mike Ditka) averaged more four points per game as a rookie. That includes Cole Kmet (2020) and Greg Olson (2007).

In a scripted low red zone period to end practice, Caleb Williams was 0-for-2 passing, took a sack but had a short TD scamper on a read-option keeper. Case Keenum, w the 2s, threw TDs to TEs Stephen Carlson and Durham Smythe. Williams was 4-for-10 today during 11-on-work.

Everyone seems to love giving Braggs a hard time for his commute but as a fellow Indiana guy, I salute my king. Leaving at the break of dawn to avoid traffic and not paying Illinois taxes, that's what Hooisers do.
I was the first one here at 615am. Fell asleep for an hour in my car, and now I'm on the 3rd bus. 😂😂😂. Greatest nap of my life, if I'm being honest.
