Call me a casual all you want, but any HR Derby that doesn't feature ANYBODY from the Ohtani, Judge, Soto, Acuña, Witt Jr, Henderson, De La Cruz, Vladdy Jr, Devers, Trout, Harper, Lindor, etc group is a HR Derby that missed out on a lot of hype. Needs more SUPERSTARS imo 🤷🏾♂️.

This would be like if Magic Johnson saw a fan wearing a Jordan shirt and gave them a Kareem shirt to wear instead. Completely normal behavior. The only people being dissed/mistreated are the legends whose contributions to the WNBA aren’t being respected.
Caitlin Clark has single-handedly transformed that league, increasing attendance and attention several fold. The other players should be thanking her, not dissing her and/or mistreating her.

Left-handed pitcher Shane McClanahan is scheduled to see a nerve specialist, per Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash. McClanahan has been out with a left triceps nerve-related issue since March.

Some news courtesy of the Boston Red Sox’s official lineup: Roman Anthony has changed his jersey number from 48 to 19 after one MLB game. Sean Newcomb wore the number earlier this season, until he was traded to the A’s on May 27.

Alex Cora said Roman Anthony’s call-up developed very quickly. Came together when they realized Wilyer Abreu was going to have to miss at least a few days. Instead of playing shorthanded, the Red Sox decided to give Anthony his shot to contribute right away.
