This is false, to answer both tweets Giant lemon shark megalodon is not accurate and is a misunderstanding of the sternes et al. 2024 They don’t suggest it was a giant lemon shark, only that the lemon shark was the closest match in head to tail to body proportion
More accurate, or equally reasonable. I keep seeing people saying the “large great white” recons (though those recons not actually just a large gws, and ppl ignore the differences) are inherently worse than the “large lemon shark” recons.
