I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, but speaking for myself: I don’t plan on joining contests or participating in community events anymore. I just want to stay in my safe place with my friends and enjoy editing with them.

meaningless [C]ode is an AMV I started around 8 months ago, but I finally found the motivation to finish it when I saw Sephi release Jack. My friends are also slowly regaining the desire to edit, which is why I’m saying I’m officially back.

For context, I’ve always struggled to make AMVs on my own. Since joining STK, what motivates me the most is editing alongside others: voice calls, screen sharing, that whole team atmosphere. But when most of them stopped, that drive disappeared, which explains the long hiatus.

I announced my break a little over a year ago with my Lycoris Radiata AMV, following an event that completely killed my motivation for both the community and AMVs in general. It even pushed most of my friends and me to stop altogether.
