I used to read @paulg essays (and still do!) & now he's throwing me shade. You either never meet your heroes, or spend enough time on Twitter that they indirectly @ you. ;)
Another rather strange thing about this story: the founder saying startups shouldn't sell equity in one paragraph, followed by the list of who he's sold equity to in the next.

Maybe I'm stuck in Web2.5, because I get crypto bearer instruments (e.g. BTC) but not faux-/instrumentally-created bearing instruments that are in-effect just representations. (No, I don't believe anyone actually 'bought' @jack's first Tweet in a way that means anything).
