4/ If we’re talking bars for bars, legacy for legacy, Kao is unmatched in Sierra Leone. His pen and contribution shaped the terrain long before social media strategy became a thing. The strategy works, but some takes cross into erasing history.

3/ But respecting driz doesn’t mean disrespecting Kaodenero. Hip-hop isn’t owned by one person, but Kao carried this culture for decades. His longevity, consistency, and spirit built a foundation the new era stands on.

2/ Let me be clear: I respect benji deeply. I knew him from our Albert Academy days. We used to slip out to “Haji” on Ranger Street. I’ve seen his growth firsthand. His charisma and boldness changed the game. He’s easily the most influential figure in SL hip-hop right now.

1/ Lately, #SaloneX has been full of arguments about Kao denero & Drizlik. A lot of it is pure ragebaiting people provoking anger just to trend. But beyond the noise, there’s a real conversation to be had.
