Please join us for our centenary celebration two weeks today (Saturday 16 March) 12-4pm at Guildford Cathedral. Heritage buses, family fun and interest. No parking on site - use the 1950’s-1970s heritage bus services from Onslow P&R, bus & rail stations & Park Barn or Routes 4/5.

Buses will not be able to serve Royal Surrey Hospital main entrance this weekend due to a crane being in operation. Please board Route #4 and Route #5 on nearby Everton Road. We’ll get our buses back into the Hospital as soon as we’re able #Guildford.

Please note that this Sunday (17 December) Stoke Road will be closed at the railway bridge. Route 3 journeys will be diverted via Woodbridge Road and Ladymead to get to and from Stoke Bridges and Bellfields. We are sorry that stops on Stoke Road & at Library will not be served.

Please note that due to a crane preventing access to the Royal Surrey Hospital this weekend (16/17 December) buses on Route 4/5 will pick up and drop off in Egerton Road a short walk away. Apologies for inconvenience.

In partnership with Surrey County Council, family-owned Safeguard Coaches will introduce an improved timetable on Guildford’s Route 4/5 from Saturday 2 September 2023. The new timetable will include much improved evening and Sunday services to the Hospital and improve reliability.

Safeguard buses will provide a Sunday service on Good Friday 7 April and Easter Monday 10 April 2023. Normal bus services will operate on the Saturday and Sunday. We wish all our customers a happy Easter.
