The Club is saddened to hear of the passing of Tom Moffat MBE. Tom was a key figure in Durham CCC’s transition to the first class game. He was a cricket man through and through and we send our heartfelt condolences to Tom’s family and our friends at @clscricketclub.

With players and representatives from clubs across the league and North East, taking on the elements this weekend, we wish them all well and good health, strength in numbers @TheNorthernEcho @ChronicleLive.

Saturday morning 7am when it’s minus 4! The numbers have increased! . Lads who started it are digging deep with aches, pains and blisters galore but they are soldiering on! Absolute legends! . 10 hours in still about 5 or so to go. #39notout .
