If you're still active here, now would be a good time to figure out what your line is when it comes to Elon's actions – assuming you have one. Because no matter what it is, I guarantee it will get crossed before long.

Thinking about joining Bluesky but need a little encouragement? Here are some frontend-centric Starter Packs I made with all the people mentioned in the State of JS/CSS/React surveys: https://t.co/dC53v7Rakp

I gave up X for 6 months this year, then tried it again for a while. It's not worth it. I don't want to be a part of supporting fascism or white nationalism, even a tiny amount. You can find me on Mastodon or Bluesky instead: https://t.co/fKkdVITnNR

If for whatever unfathomable reason you're even considering voting for Trump – here's reason #538 not to: he doesn't need your vote, he can just make up votes on his own. https://t.co/stZeVLye2p

For a while we've been collecting comments on every question (as a way to catch any relevant feedback respondents might have), but this will be the first time we're actually exposing that data publicly. Turns out some topics generate a lot of discourse! (118 comments here)

this honestly feels like it wouldn't have happened before the Trump era. This is the same now-familiar "ends justify the means" self-righteousness that lets people blow off any social norms, even at the cost of their own reputation…

I thought @photomatt's behavior was already pretty egregious, but forcing me to agree with @dhh is one step too far
"That's the deal. That's open source. I give you a gift of code, you accept the terms of the license. There cannot be a second set of shadow obligations that might suddenly apply, if you strike it rich using the software. Then the license is meaningless."

startup idea (which I'm sure has been tried countless time before): Twitter DMs but you have to pay $1 each time you DM a new person.
