I know I’m grateful I do.

Make sure when you decide to take a big leap, whether it be entrepreneurship, academic or making an investment, that you have great people around you who can hold you accountable and make space for your imperfections while you juggle all the balls in your life… including growth.

Choosing to get a PhD, while running a business has not been for the faint of heart. I totally get why it takes the average person 10 years to finish. Here’s what I’ve learned…

Pretty ironic that thanks to the internet, we get to see our biggest modern day **insert non-politicized word for “monopoly”* scramble to sell off bits in and experience its affects on us.

Back in the day you didn’t get to really watch it when an economic giant fell, or was under attack— in real time. I In general we found out through oratories and letters or news, through radio and TV media… Always with a delay.

Yo, y’all see how Google is selling stuff off like crazy with this anti-trust lawsuit. When was the last time we saw this actively happening in economic history?!?!

Know that whatever it is that you are going through, I’m right there in the thick of it next you, in the midst of mine, hands clasped praying over yours.

But seriously Thks for being my never ending support system & sounding board, my confidants, my friends, my mentors, my challengers, & my deepest sense of the word, “friend.”
