5/5 Take breaks, vary your hand motions, change up your wrist posture. You can do these things before the pain starts. The more preventative care, the longer you can keep gaming, streaming, and enjoying what you do.

4/5 Gaming keyboards and mice were not designed with carpal tunnel in mind. Get an ergonomic keyboard and a vertical mouse. If you can't, get a wrist pad to lift your wrists up and flatten out your hand and wrist posture. Get a gaming keypad that lets you flatten your hand out.

3/5 If you feel pain in your wrists, which may extend down the forearm or up into your hand, you may have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. See a doctor! They can give you exercises to help reduce this pain, but you also need to change your gaming posture. Sit up straight.

2/5 Take breaks sooner and more often. Preventative care goes a long way and we will understand why you aren't streaming. I suspect she has developed Carpal Tunnel. Given how much repetitive motion goes into gaming, it is inevitable rather than a possibility.

1/5 I was listening to a vtuber's stream and she mentioned that she couldn't stream the prior day because her wrists hurt. I keep seeing and hearing this from streamers, where they hurt so bad that they can't stream. Please, take care of yourselves. Check in with your doctor.
