Another Eureka moment for our lab! Our first successful Oxford Nanopore sequencing run using the Midnight protocol. Next in line will be sequencing for colon cancer and neonatal infection. (A tribute to my father and new born baby). #coloncancer #neonatalinfection #oxfordnanopore
For years I tried to evade medical research since I don't want to handle potentially infectious samples. But when I lost and is losing someone special to colon cancer and neonatal infection, I swear that I will spend the rest of my mediocre life on helping MDs battle these two.
