Made it through the first half of the day pretty okay. Started to get back into getting work done, etc. Have felt sick to my stomach the second half. This pit in my chest/stomach sucks.

If you have a pet. Get pet insurance. Now. Please. You won’t regret. By the end of this it will have cost over $14,000 and counting because I didn’t have pet insurance.

@Everyone UPDATE: Lots more phone calls, lots more confusion, and now a $200 trip to an oncologist over an hour away tomorrow. Another $900 test to determine type of lymphoma (shoulda been done already...), and who knows what else. 3 weeks and $4,000 later.

@Everyone UPDATE: It appears to be lymphoma. Survival rates are 1 year+ after a splenectomy. She said according to a study 60% of dogs that had a splenectomy lived well past the year mark. She reach out to an oncologist at the lab to ask for recommendations in the meantime… no reply yet

One of my favorite moments from #GenCon2025 was getting to play in an official @Wizards_DnD studio setup with game designer @MakenzieLaneDA as the DM. Very cool experience! My least favorite is probably my phone dying while i'm interviewing her and Justice Arman. So embarassing.

@Everyone UPDATE: it is NOT the really bad cancer. There was something with the shape of blood cells though so they’re running additional testing to determine whether it’s lymphoma (still cancer but much better prognosis) or benign. Don’t have the official answer but, it’s still good news

I’ve had like 4 people sit in the wrong seats around me on this flight and have to get up and move…actually wild. It’s just two digits and a letter…

@Everyone The spleen definitely had discoloration and nodules along with the tumor. Nothing definitive on whether it was malignant or benign until the biopsy is done… Will take 7 to 10 days to get results. 2/2

@everyone Jaina is out of surgery.M. I can pick her up around 4:30pm. The pre-op x-ray didn’t seem show anything in the lungs or abdomen hinting at metastasizing. While the doctor had her open, she looked around and didn’t see anything obvious on other organs. 1/2 ->

Today is awful. Keep Jaina in your thoughts. Surgery Monday for a baseball size mass on her spleen.

So far 5 out of 7 of my premier games have had a blatant wall hacker and aim bot cheater. Woooo this is so fun @CounterStrike

Play Marvel Rivals tonight for a few hours, decide to hop on CS. Immediately against the same cheater I played two days ago. Premier is dead, @CounterStrike should legitimately just shut it down at this point. It's beyond the point of being worth playing.
