One of the best surprises of my New Jedi Order re-read is how great the Edge of Victory Duology by Greg Keyes is. Rebirth has a lot of different storylines. Expansion of the Vong Lore, primarily with the Shaper Caste, GREAT Introduction to Supreme Overlord Shimra & Onimi.

New Jedi Order Book 8 Edge of Victory Rebirth was an awesome Re-read! Nom Anor continues to be a menacing villain who continues to pop up and incite bullshit everywhere he goes. We get introduced to the Gablith Masquer which is allows Nom Anor to infiltrate the Givin species.

Big news out of the SDCC yesterday: John Byrne’s Elsewhen is finally getting officially published by Marvel! Byrne’s 32 issues of Xmen fan-fiction will be released in three volumes in 2026. That’s some pretty great news to start your Friday. Hoo-hah!
