As a track coach imma say it loud for the people in the back. YOU DONT NEED TO RUN TRACK TO GET FAST FOR FOOTBALL. Strength and conditioning coaches coach speed too and a lot of the time, they do it better then the high school coaches.

Unpopular thought. Football coaches- stop telling their football players to run track if they want to get faster. If your football player lost 3 lbs, didn't get stronger but dropped their 100m time by .03264, did it really benefit your program? Vet the track coach first please.

I just spoke to another parent who you told me his sons head coach is still with the recruiting philosophy " if they are good enough, the schools will find them." We need to start holding these coaches accountable for the lack of effort and laziness that these coaches do display!

1. Have the size ,speed + measurables.
2. Be a varsity starter with film.
3. 2.5 gpa in NCAA cores.
