Pantry Parcels has managed to start their slow cooker lessons and was able to provide every participant with their very own slow cooker to help combat their energy concerns and food insecurity - 12 beneficiaries joined the course. Some were providing for large families.

Since we funded 5 projects as part of the Enactus competition, projects have been ticking along. Using their volunteering days, colleagues have been continuing to support the development of the 5 winning Teams projects.

Alongside the gifts, the very generous group held an employee raffle which raised £2,535 for the charity which works with over 100 families’ every day to help them move on from fear and abuse. #StopHunger #StopHungerCharity #Impact #Beneficiaries.

Check out the BRS team with their MK-ACT gift donations. Each of them were provided with a list of ages and genders by the charity to help them with their purchases.

From 9th February, Sodexo colleagues across our different services have fundraised over $3,700 to support Turkey and Syria. Across Europe, we have been able to donate over 17,800 meals. Sodexo will match donations up to 50,000 meals donated.

Sodexo operates on-site services, including global strategic accounts and Benefits and Rewards Services (BRS) within Turkey. Sodexo’s senior leaders in Turkey have been leading a crisis response to ensure the safety of our colleagues.

The support will help beneficiaries flourish: one beneficiary commented that upon hearing they would receive support from MIH "was the best news they had for a long time" as they were struggling both financially and with their mental health at the time.

The Stop Hunger Foundation has worked closely with @made_in_hackney for many years; this includes grant giving and Sodexo employee volunteering support.

In 2022, the Stop Hunger and Enactus Incubator Competition saw £3,750 of funding invested in five sustainable social impact projects which go beyond grant giving and tackle the root causes of food insecurity.
