Our @STM_College pupils represented our school brilliantly this week as a number of them across all year groups competed in the #Tameside Cross Country. All runners were impressive with many qualifying for the GMCC, and our girls teams came home with 2x🥈and 1x🥉which is amazing!

Student Spotlight Lily F 8T Well done to Lily who attended a prestigious Irish Dancing Competition, Feis Cheshire, at the weekend and came an incredible 5th, getting up on the podium and winning a trophy and 3 medals. Well done Lily we are all so proud of you.

Some of our @STM_College Yr7’s sampled some #boxing during a #PE class today. After learning the correct stance and basic punches, they worked together to develop a short combination of punches before showcasing them to each other. Good effort today 7H 🥊 #TeamSTM

Brilliant results for our @STM_College Yr9 & Yr11 Boys Football teams tonight, both playing away at St Cuthberts in the Catholic Cup. Both games had thrilling finishes and great talent on show. Great to see both come out winners and into the next rounds.

Y7 Netball Dream Team! Congratulations to the Y7 girls who today played against Fairfield and Laurus Ryecroft, winning both games by a ridiculous amount of goals! Miss Lewis dubbed them 'future Tameside Champions!' We are excited to see them progress!

Special Mention- Student Spotlight Congratulations to Imogen R in Y7, who recently did netball trials for Manchester Thunder, Leeds Rhino's and Cheshire County. The competition was fierce, but she was offered positions from all teams! Well done Imogen!

Our @STM_College yr8 boys Football team were in action recently in their first league game of the year against a strong @StDamiansRCSC side. Our side showed great #determination, teamwork, and a will to succeed. Keep building and developing boys and great things will happen

Our @STM_College Yr9 Bronze @DofE participants were brilliant this week completing their qualifying expedition. They made memories and had a load of fun over the two days. The weather certainly tested their navigation and camp craft skills! Well done everyone 👏🏻
