A very happy birthday to our Anglo Italian cup winning goalkeeper Roy Jones. Roy born this day in 1942. During a four year spell with @Official_STFC , Roy also played in a memorable 2-0 League Cup tie win over Bill Shankly’s Liverpool. Happy birthday Roy.

Today we remember Archie Bown. Born this day in 1882, Archie is @Official_STFC ‘s 5th highest goalscorer with 142 goals in 291 appearances. Archie played for Swindon in FA Cup semi finals, Charity Shield and Dubonnet Cup finals. He also scored six in one game against Watford.
