Congrats to our RMRE FLL Robotics team, the Challengers, who competed in their first competition this weekend. Using the Design Process, this amazing team placed 3rd in robot comp, and earned the Excellence in Engineering!!! Next stop @ASUEngineering for State comp in January!

Building a culture of innovation: Our first STEM Institute Showcase was a success! We featured a “Story Walk” through our school garden and our Jag Garden Club’s first Farmer’s Market along with many other exhibits and activities. Now, it’s on to our next adventure!

Last weekend, our HEALab hosted its first health hackathon in collaboration with @asuhealth and @ASUEngineering in the @EntrepreneurASU space Downtown! Interdisciplinary teams competed for $10,000 while tackling problems related to food waste and aging at home.
