Karthik's #BellLetsTalk threads each year remind me how it's okay to talk about our own struggles with mental health. Mine hasn't been great lately. I'm working on that, every day. It doesn't make me less of a person to admit that.
1/ Millions of people suffer from mental illness. They rarely talk about their condition because of the associated stigmas. I am one of those people. Surprised? You shouldn't be. Serious mental illness affects so many people, even those deemed "successful" #BellLetsTalk

I’m 100% guilty of this years ago when it was presented as “haha funny gamer rage noise” in meme culture. After hearing from advocates and educating myself over the last few years, I worked to remove it from my language. I’m sure I hurt someone out there - I’m sorry. ♥️
