Absolutely disgusting. My heart is with the families. High time judges and lawyers do what’s necessary to help stop this. Our courts have a critical role to play.

I’ll never understand why people take these charges. The blatant disregard for others is evident.

Trying to put a positive spin on such a tragic event for many. Hopefully we’ll bring some smiles and change minds when it come to negligent driving. Everything we do, we do in Hannah’s name.

Today Minister Stoodley spoke about the powerful @STANDforHannah documentary & how it serves as a reminder to all of us that irresponsible behaviour often leads to such tragedy. 📢 It is up to each and every one of us to practice road safety. #nltraffic #GovNL

Hannah Thorne was just 18 years old when she was killed by two men street racing. Earlier in the show we shared a few minutes from the new documentary, Stand for Hannah. Up next, we hear from Hannah's mom, Gail Thorne, who spoke with CBC's @ryancookeNL @ramraajh @KrissyHolmes

Gail Thorne says not a day goes by in which she doesn't think about her late daughter Hannah ... and how she died at the hands of two men who were drag-racing. See a powerful documentary about Hannah's story https://t.co/3ETWPyUyGx

⚠️ADVISORY UPDATE⚠️ Conditions continue to deteriorate for motorists on the Northeast Avalon. We ask that if you must travel on our roads, do so with extreme caution. Visibility is limited due to white-out & blowing snow, with snow & ice covered roads. #nltraffic #YourRNC

Safe driving starts with yourself. Please put away the distractions and slow down. This type of driving is not worth your life or the life of some innocent victim. Awesome jod! @RNC_PoliceNL

Yesterday afternoon #YourRNC & @RCMPNL Traffic Services focused on a school zone in the metro region. Officers were alarmed to have to issue 7 tickets for using a cell phone while driving & 17 for speeding. We ask motorists to slow down & be aware of your surroundings. #nltraffic
