Coach Carlisle is 100% correct. This isn't just the NBA. This is all levels. All sports. Even outside of games. Indiana fans can tell when someone is giving 100%+ effort into something. Gameplay, coaching, recruiting, even coaching searches. Anything less is unacceptable.
Carlisle: "I don't buy belly-aching about missed shots. Indiana fans can tell when a team is playing as hard as they can possibly play. We didn't do that tonight.".

This is what people need to remember when looking at attendance data.
Some other #iufb opener data for the last 20 yrs of home openers:. Average attendance: 40,924.Excluding Big Ten openers: 38,631.Excluding Big Ten & 21: 37,510. We have currently outsold the recorded numbers for 17 of 19 games in those 20 years. The two others were both Ohio St.
