Chadwell says there will be additional changes to the staff. He will meet with them next week. “We’re not going to go through this again. I’ve got to make changes.”

First change for Liberty this offseason.
Liberty co-offensive coordinator/QB coach Willy Korn has informed the Liberty staff and players he’s leaving college football to work in private business. Korn has played for or worked with Jamey Chadwell since 2010, including CO-OC at Coastal Carolina and Liberty.

This was a bad hire with predictable outcome He didn’t fit the program at all Meanwhile Chadwell, the perfect fit who opted to leave, won 4 games at Liberty this year
Coastal has fired HC Tim Beck He had three seasons of: 8-5, 6-7, and 6-6

Liberty lost 5 games this season when out-gaining its opponent in total yards. This includes two games where the Flames lost despite having over 500 yards of offense (Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State - who will meet for the CUSA Championship).

It’s hard to say let’s get rid of the guy who took us to our best season in program history just two years ago. However if things don’t get turned around next year he should absolutely 100% be gone. Even if it’s early next year and we are losing.
Not really sure what the justification is for keeping Chadwell at this point, unless he’s willing to make sweeping changes to his staff. But even then I’m not sure if it’s worth it
