#Y1 have started the next stage of their DT projects. We used willow sticks to build the structure of our fish. Next week will be applying our weaving skills to complete our own loom fish. #DT

Part 2- Some of our talented #Y4 students also demonstrated how violins produce sound when a bow is drawn across the strings.

Part 1- #Y4 had a fantastic time in our science lesson this afternoon. We learnt that sound travels through the air in waves and that these waves are created by vibrations. Using different materials, like rice on drums we explored how sound is made.

Today, #Y2 led the school in a Service of the Word. We celebrated the Presentation of the Lord and thought about ways we can give ourselves to God. #catholiclife

Year 3 have been busy making a robot using recycled resources this afternoon! They found out the 'users' interests, designed, then made a robot for the 'user'. Their problem solving skills are brilliant! #design #Y3 #craft #recycling

On Wednesday, Year 5 ventured out to @MoseleyParkPool to assess the cleanliness of a local marine environment. We picked up any litter we found, and looked at how the environment supports living things. #Y5
