We are SEW impressed with Year 4’s finished Christmas Stockings which has been our Design & Technology unit this half term! Well done Year 4!

This afternoon, our wonderful choir sang for the residents of Shannon Court residential home. What a lovely experience for the children! We were so proud of every single one of them!

Year 5 and 6 took part in a road safety workshop this morning. They looked at the crime scene from an accident, listened to key witnesses and learnt lots of key messages about staying safe on the roads both when travelling inside vehicles and as pedestrians. 🚲🚘💥🚑🚓

This morning in fabbs breakfast club the children have designed and built an amazing town which included a school and an airport ⭐️🛩️

Year five have been practising their map reading skills to find countries which use fair trade products 🍌☕️

What an amazing class assembly from Year 4 this morning! They really impressed us with their knowledge, singing and acting. We are so proud of you all! ⚡️🔌🔋🎆🎇⭐️🤩

We had lots of fun in Science club today making helicopter spinners and making predictions. 🚁🚁

This afternoon, Year 4 were busy making switches and using them to turn a bulb on and off in an electric circuit. 💡🔋💡

Year 3 have gone on a scavenger hunt for covenants (promises) made by Christian’s in RE today.

Monday mornings don’t get much better than this! Hot chocolate with Mrs Unsworth as we celebrate some wonderful work. ☕️

Careers week concludes today and Year 6 have had a visit from Mr Clarke our Chair of Governors to find out about his career as a solicitor. We also met Dom Carey (an area manager Tesco) and Lucy (a speech therapist) earlier this week. Thank you to all our visitors. 🌟💙

Music with a mixed class of Year 4 and 5 children. They enjoyed using percussion instruments.

Year 3 shared their wonderful knowledge of the skeleton, sang beautifully and shared their innovative story writing. They also shared their e-safety tips. Well done on a fabulous assembly. 💀💻🐺

In Science Club this week we made an electron accelerator and had lots of fun firing them! We thought about forces and angles. 🥼⚛️

We have met so many interesting people this week including Fiona who works in film and TV and Paul who is a financial planner. They set us some great challenges to help us understand their job. We also took part in an Amazon workshop all about engineering and computer science🎬💷
