1/3 I've got some new music coming up, so I've decided to make a Sonic rewild #bandcamp This short EP of miniature compositions are the result of combining environmental #datasets, which detail #eutrophication in the Lake District, with recordings of #johnruskin's lithophone.

Thanks Ricardo, enjoyed every moment!
Today we are celebrating Harry Ovington's amazing PhD journey, which I had the previledge to share as his main supervisor, along with Dr Rupert Cox (Social Anthropology). Amazing Portfolio putting environmental sustainability at the core of his musical discourse. @SRewild

Thanks for some amazing years and a fantastic community of friends, all doing amazing work!
Congratulations to PhD Harry Ovington (3rd from left) @SRewild, for this superb viva-voce defence on the theme of music composition around environmental concerns, sonic rewalding & aural mapping. A triumph of academic persistence, love for nature, resilience & self-believe. šš¼šš¼

Excited to share a new 35 minute composition, and publication via @LandLinesNature tomorrow at midday. The piece documents the ways in which I sonically explored #bluespace and a means for bettering my mental health during a difficult year. Hope you enjoy!

Today's releases are by Harry Ovington. Harry shares his personal experiences of living in Dorset and his compositions are layered soundscapes exploring the interplay between nature, the material landscape, and our human interactions these elements.

I had such an amazing time on this project. Stay tuned for a roll out of updates and materials!
Following her work on the Tracks, Traces and Trails project, Suzie Cross teamed up with David De La Haye and Harry Ovington to explore nature sound and eco-acoustics (our human relationship with environmental sound) at @DurlstonCP . More next week! https://t.co/6pWXlSKjRs
