The project’s impact is gaining recognition, with a major news station featuring it! This momentum created by the RICOWAS project brings Senegal closer to increasing domestic rice production and reducing reliance on imports.

Our Programme Director, Francesco Carnevale Zampaolo, recently joined the ANCAR team visit to the village of Finthiok, in Southern Senegal, where an inspiring SRI plot has been established. This site will be a powerful example for farmers as ANCAR trainers spread the knowledge.
