Last week we bought a bunch of craft supplies for the SQ library. The library staff had the idea to provide materials for Mother’s Day card making. We hope to start sponsoring regular craft events at the San Quentin Library! Check out the flyer that will be posted around SQ.

After overcoming many hurdles - permissions, backordered, shipping delays, delivery delays - the couch you all helped us buy for the San Quentin Library has finally arrived. THANKS! It’s going to make the patron space look a bit more comfortable and inviting!

Thanks to the folks at Bull Press for sending the San Quentin Library a box full of their narrative role playing games. They make cool RPG books specifically for incarcerated folks that conform to prison policies. Check them out: https://t.co/DC5zNP4y7z

Thanks to @SanQuentinNews for the article about an event we had at the SQ Library last month! We gave away 250 kids books and sent out 98 packages to families. We hope to double capacity next time and do this event twice a year. https://t.co/o5nAYyUtjt

Writing thank you letters to the 14 incarcerated library staff at San Quentin. They are the backbone of our work. It's their ideas, input, and experiences running the library that inform our project. Looking forward to our meetings and the collaborations we will do in 2023!
